Inclusion & Creative Facilitator

We’re looking for a passionate, creative and adaptable facilitator to join our team and deliver a pioneering inclusion project at a primary school in Stoke Gifford, Bristol.You’ll lead small-group sessions for KS1 and KS2 learners with SEND and SEMH needs, using drama, craft, sensory play, mindfulness and culinary arts to help children build social and emotional skills in a space they help shape themselves. It’s a youth-led, trauma-informed role: you’ll meet children where they are, co-regulate, and support them to lead their own creative and therapeutic journeys.

Pay: £16 per hour (inclusive of holiday accrual)

Hours: 5–15 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 12.30–3.15pm (minimum two sessions per week), plus training and supervision

Contract: Fixed term, academic year 2026/27 (39 weeks)

Location: Long Down Ave, Stoke Gifford, BS16 1GE, with occasional time at our Bristol head office

Start date: Training from 1 September 2026; delivery from 7 September 2026

We’re after someone with a background in a creative field (performing arts, art, music, drama or sports coaching), at least two years’ experience working with children or young people, and a genuine gift for building trust and rapport. Experience supporting autism, ADHD or emotional regulation needs is a bonus, not a requirement.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Recruitment into our freelance team in ongoing, and we review applications as we received them. If you have made a successful application we will invite you to join our next interview session with available spaces.

We host in-person interviews on the First Thursday of every month, which include a group session where we ask all applicants to come prepared with an workshop activity or game to be shared, alongside a short interview with one of the development team.

SAFEGUARDING

Due to our position of trust in our sector and the nature of our work with children and young people, all employees employed directly with the Company will be required to complete the Company Application Form to a required standard, provide suitable references and will be required to undergo enhanced DBS checking; as required by Keeping Children Safe In Education (KCSIE) protocol.

In the process of collecting references, we will request information regarding whether or not you are considered suitable to work with children and young people.

You will be required to bring identification and processing documents with you to interview; a list of suitable documents will be provided once you have been shortlisted.
