Welcome to the Unique Voice HAF Registration page. Your child has been invited to take part in our upcoming Winter Holiday Programmes. Here you will be able to register your child at one of our locations listed below. You can also find out more information about our programmes using our Frequently Asked Questions and download our Family Agreement at the bottom of the page.

Our holiday programmes are fun, interactive and filled with games, activities and creative play. They have been designed to support children with their confidence, teamwork and self esteem. This provision has been funded by Your Holiday Hub – Bristol City Council and South Gloucestershire Council through funding from the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) via the Department for Education and we are able to offer places free of charge.

Who are Unique Voice?

We are a creative community organisation and alongside many other term-time projects; we also provide much needed holiday provision to families in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Our holiday programmes are run by highly skilled and enhanced DBS checked youth and play facilitators.

What time is the programme?

Primary (5 – 11 year olds)

10am – 2pm

Secondary (11 – 16 year olds)

11am – 3pm

We do not have access to the venues before or after this time so please make sure you are prompt in dropping off and collecting your child.

What will my child do?

Our holiday programmes are fun, interactive and filled with games, activities and creative play. They have been designed to support children and young people with their confidence, teamwork and self esteem.

What should my child wear?

Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing they can move around in.

Should they bring lunch?

Lunch and snacks are provided free of charge. Our food providers are Team Canteen CIC and Jafra Kitchen.

We operate a no nuts policy at every programme. Please specify any dietary requirements in your registration.

Please note, Jafra Kitchen serves only Halal meat. Unless a dietary requirement is specifically stated during registration all meat dishes will contain Halal meat.

How do I talk to someone about my child attending?

Is there anything I need to provide?

In cold weather please ensure your child brings appropriately warm clothing as our programmes include outdoor play.

In hot weather we ask all parents to apply (minimum SPF 15+) to their child’s face, arms, ears, neck, legs, backs of hands and tops of feet, before they arrive at the setting. We also ask that your child brings a sun hat with them.

Please bring any medication your child needs to take during programme hours. Medication must only be preventative e.g. asthma pumps

What if my child can't attend?

We ask all families to let us know as soon as possible if their child will not be attending. You will be given the Programme Manager contact number who you can call or text to let them know if your child will be absent.

If we do not receive a call or message to say your child is not attending we will contact you to check in. If we do not hear a response by 4pm of that day your child’s place will be give to another family on our waiting list.
