Unique Voice is a nationally accredited social enterprise working frontline in schools and communities across the South West. We deliver creative programmes using the arts as a medium to make a positive and long-lasting social impact.

CREATIVE, EDUCATIONAL & ASPIRATIONAL PROGRAMMES:

We create programmes and films designed to enable young people to learn, develop and grow in all aspects of their social emotional development. We provide topical and engaging programmes on subjects such as mental health, achievement and belonging, crime and anti- bullying with much of our work aligned to safeguarding and early intervention based services through performance, film and workshop programmes.

TARGETED HOLIDAY PROGRAMMES:

Unique Voice provides creative and stimulating funded holiday programmes across Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Working with a trauma- informed approach we provide a safe space for children to participate in performing arts, games, art and creative activities whilst delivering information on healthy eating and providing a locally cooked healthy lunch each day.

Pay rate

Pay range £29,120 – £31,200 pro rata (£11,648 – £12,480), based on experience

Location

Office based at Unique Voice Head Office, St Bonaventure’s Business Centre, Friary Road, Bristol BS7 8AF and occasionally at project locations.

Job Role

We are now recruiting for a Unique Voice Project Coordinator.

This role will offer an exciting opportunity to play a key role on the successful delivery of multiple creative projects that advance social change and innovation.

No two days are the same; one may be spent scheduling educational workshops in schools, another may be focused on communication with key stakeholders. This role will require efficient management of multiple projects simultaneously, which also have a variety of purposes and outputs.

You’ll be working alongside our small but mighty team, and be led by our Operations Manager. Day to day you will be leading the coordination of our projects, ensuring the life cycle of every project is well communicated, fluid, and carried out with our values, aims and objectives in mind. You must be able to adapt to projects changing and developing, with the confidence to make decisions independently.

Projects are widely varied, examples include but are not exclusive too; activity pack preparation, multi-school touring, community events, online events and film development.

Projects delivered by Unique Voice have highly impactful outcomes, with important learning and developments for children, young people and their families both in educational settings and the community. Therefore this role comes with a high level of responsibility to ensure the aims and objectives of each project are met.

This role requires efficiency in team work and communication, being able to take the project briefs and execute the needs for all involved stakeholders.

  • Coordinating staffing and cover where required
  • Identifying and gathering required resources
  • Working collaboratively with other Project Coordinators and team members
  • Communicating effectively with UV office and freelance team
  • Partnership work
  • Planning and executing data collection to create reports for internal and external use
  • Communicating and liaising with key stakeholders
  • Ensuring events (in person and online) are well attended
  • Driving to projects and external meetings where required
