Footsteps – A New Service aimed to enhance aspirations for KS2

Unique Voice are delighted to introduce their new Creative Communication scheme of work, ‘Footsteps’. The scheme had been designed to equip children with confidence about their future careers, ahead of beginning secondary school.

It’s strong links with Ofsted, PHSE and positive development make this scheme highly recommended and beneficial for both staff and children.

This 6 week programme of drama workshops aims to empower the children to recognise and achieve their ambitions.

– The children will explore opportunities available to them, and be encouraged to create their own pathway to their dream job.

– They will develop essential interview skills, and will explore obstacles they may face during their secondary careers.

– The programme will culminate with a final performance in week 6, showcasing the children’s work over the term.

Mainstream and special educational provisions have opted for this scheme to feature in the last term of the academic year so that year 6 students feel confident transiting to secondary school. The scheme is open to all ks2 students.
