AN UPDATE FROM UNIQUE VOICE RELATING TO THE ONGOING CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) SPREAD.
Given the global situation, we are conscious that everyone’s situation is changing and challenging. We are hoping that you and your families are doing well under the incredibly hard circumstances. Here at Unique Voice, our priority is, and will continue to be, to support every single member of the UV team, the services we offer and of course the young people we serve.
In light of government guidelines our team are working from home and all regular and specialist projects that we offered before March 2020 in schools and educational settings have been postponed. We are now in conversations with our different commissioners, supporters and customers to ensure they are reassured that the projects will be able to run after the pandemic has run its course.
During these difficult times we are adapting to be as flexible as possible to best support our communities and the future of Unique Voice. To do this, we are leaning on our creativity as ever! Here’s a few examples of how we are supporting those in need during this crisis:
-
We are creating free resources packs which include crafts, group activities, drama games, art activities, mindfulness, physical activity and much more to help inspire families currently at home.
-
We are offering creative and safe programs for the children who are still attending schools (key worker children) – Please get in touch if you would like to speak about your school’s needs.
-
We are in touch with our families directly to help signpost both resources and practical support available to them at this time.
